Faith In Action - Adopt-a-Day

Faith In Action Adopt-A-Day is fun, rewarding, exciting and most importantly — meaningful.

Habitat for Humanity Detroit offers faith groups the opportunity to put their "Faith In Action" through our Faith In Action Adopt-A-Day program. A faith group makes a financial contribution to sponsor volunteers to help build a Habitat home for one day. Your group will work under skilled leadership on one of our houses in progress.

The Faith In Action Adopt-A-Day is a great way to show a love of God by helping people in need. It's also an excellent outreach ministry, and a perfect team-building opportunity for missions outreach groups, teen youth Groups, men's/women's groups, and the entire congregation.

We encourage a minimum contribution of $40 per person to support and acknowledge the efforts of the volunteers. All Faith In Action Adopt-A-Day contributions go towards supporting Habitat for Humanity Detroit's Family, Volunteer and Construction programs.
