Adopt-A-Day Activities

Your Investment as an Adopt-A-Day Sponsor

For $250 per person (recommended), your sponsor investment will enable your group of 4 to 16 employees (maximum) to participate in a day of building and fun that is both exciting and rewarding. But be warned, Habitat volunteerism has been known to be addictive! Just ask any of our "Habitual Volunteers," many of whom got their first taste of Habitat-Detroit through similar Adopt-A-Day programs!

As an Adopt-a-Day sponsor, you have several exciting opportunities to engage your group and ensure for a rewarding day of service.

Team-base Construction

Group Training with a Pro: Enhance your Adopt A Day Experience:

With over 20 years experience, consulting professional Dennis Blender, Ph.D. will take your group through a motivating, professionally facilitated, team-building experience. Throughout the construction day, Dennis will instruct your team in communication patterns, leadership styles, problem solving and decision making methods.

By the end of the construction day, Dennis will transfer the day's "real-world" experiences into lessons learned about goal-setting, propelling performance, maximizing team results, and celebrating tangible results through shared efforts. Many teams have found they accomplish more in one day than they do in a year's worth of traditional training.

The investment for this value-added, extended program is $750 per person and includes a goal-setting meeting and orientation session with planners and facilitators prior to the day's event.
