Habitat volunteers are an integral part of our mission, allowing us to connect to the communities we serve and making a real difference in the lives of people. It is through hard work and dedication that we are able to improve the human condition by offering our clients an affordable and desirable place to call home. We welcome individuals, corporations, community groups, faith congregations, and many to join us in building affordable housing opportunities for local families. No prior experience is necessary; we’ll show you what to do!

Habitat for Humanity Detroit programs provide safe, decent, and affordable housing solutions through new home construction, home rehabilitation, home repair, ramp building, and community revitalization work.
