Habitat for Humanity Detroit Receives $5,000 Grant from Arby’s Foundation for Its Children’s Programming

Detroit – The Arby’s Foundation has committed $500,000 to support every community where Arby’s has a restaurant, and recently awarded Habitat for Humanity Detroit a $5,000 grant for its children’s programming.

“The Detroit-area Arby’s team is proud to have selected Habitat for Humanity Detroit as a recipient of a $5,000 grant,” said a representative from Arby’s Foundation.

The funds will go to support Habitat for Humanity Detroit’s efforts to increase financial literacy from a young age. This includes Match & Save bank accounts and online learning activities for young investors. Grant money from the Arby’s Foundation will also be used in the build and design of children’s bedrooms in upcoming Habitat for Humanity home builds.

In total, the Arby’s Foundation anticipates giving out nearly 200 local grants across the U.S.
