How to Donate
Habitat for Humanity Detroit depends on the generosity of individuals, churches, corporations and local organizations to provide the financial support and the materials needed to build and rehabilitate affordable homes for hardworking families in Detroit.
Habitat for Humanity Detroit is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your contribution is tax deductible in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code.

Square Foot Club:
To keep building efforts going strong and ReBuild Detroit, please consider joining the Square Foot Club. With just $10/month, you will help:
- strengthen neighborhoods
- educate families
- rehab distressed homes
- train volunteers
- build safe, affordable homes

Mail-in Donations:
Use our mail-in donation form to mail your donation to Habitat Detroit. Donations can be made in memory or in honor of a loved one. Habitat Detroit will send out a card to your loved one or their family notifing them of the donation.

ReStore Donations:
Our Metro ReStores rely on donations of new and used building materials and home improvement items from individuals, organizations, contractors, retailers, and corporations. While most building materials are accepted, visit the Habitat for Humanity Metro ReStores site for a list of acceptable donations.
To Donate:
- Call 313-653-4890 between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Tuesday thru Saturday
- Drop off at one of our locations (Detroit-West, Detroit-East) between 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday thru Saturday
- Schedule a pick-up online

Cars for Homes:
Your car donation can help a family build a home, and the hope of a better life. Car, truck, boat and RV donations help Habitat for Humanity Detroit build houses in partnership with families in need of affordable hosing.
