Habitat for Humanity Detroit is VOLUNTEER POWERED.

We rely on thousands of volunteers every year to carry out our mission to build homes, hope and community in the neighborhoods of Detroit and eastern Wayne County.

Be a part of revitalizing neighborhoods for hundreds of Detroit residents each year by helping with everything from construction and critical home repair, to neighborhood beautification, and creating safe places for children to walk and play. Find the volunteer opportunity that is right for you!

Group volunteer opportunities are a great way to get your office, school, church, or club involved with Habitat. There are a variety of group volunteer opportunities available from home and neighborhood work to hosting a fundraiser or sponsoring a home repair project.

To schedule a group volunteer day on construction or for more information on a custom group opportunity, please contact Cristina Verduzco – email cverduzco@habitatdetroit.org or call 313-521-6691.

* minimum age to volunteer on a Habitat Detroit site is sixteen (with adult supervision)
