Where We Build
Habitat Detroit already has several neighborhoods we build in. Check them out below!
Morningside Neighborhood
The Morningside Neighborhood, located on Detroit’s east side, boasts a longstanding partnership with Habitat for Humanity Detroit. With more than 5,000 lots, three community parks, and a robust Neighborhood Association, Morningside has flourished in recent years through its many revitalization efforts. Since 2006 Habitat Detroit has invested to build or rehab more than 120 homes in this community. The continued efforts of Habitat Detroit, along with the Morningside Neighborhood Association seek to not only provide safe, stable housing but also to improve landscapes, provide safe passageways to work and school, remove blight, and help neighbors comfortably age in place.

Lincoln Park
Habitat Detroit is building a new home on a vacant lot in the downriver area.
The home will be similar to the Habitat houses built in Detroit’s Morningside and Westwood Park areas. It will be a 1,200-square-foot ranch with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and an attached garage.

Westwood Park
Westwood Park is a neighborhood in Detroit, Michigan. It offers residents a sparse suburban feel and most residents own their homes. Habitat Detroit has built over 80 homes in this area is excited to revisit the community and begin rehabbing.
